Here at David James Architects we have started the New Year with a number of exciting new projects.
As we closed the door on 2013, we opened a new door on 2014…literally!  We are proud to have specified and been supplied by Todd Doors a fantastic bespoke door to our offices.  Alan from Todd Doors was most helpful in supplying the frame, door and ironmongery, and meeting our high specifications and standards.  This robust and expertly crafted door has a stylish stainless steel pull handle, and offers a secure locking mechanism.  The slick, stylish design compliments our design ethos.
Glossbrook Builders Ltd, who used the upmost care in fitting the frame into a very tight opening, have meticulously installed the door.  We are extremely proud of our new front door and would like to thank both companies involved for their skilled input. Excellent result!
Take a look at this fly-around for a block of flats in Branksome Park, we achieved planning permission for this site earlier in the week…
At the end of 2013 Ian Gault joined DJA team. After an enjoyable and productive 15 years living and working in London, Ian, Beccy and their two boys, Darcy & Oscar, decided to relocate to Poole to be closer to their relatives and give the boys life experiences outside London. Being a keen cyclist he is looking forward to exploring the Dorset country side with its spectacular landscape and numerous public houses.
Ian has 11 years post Part III experience in the Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Entertainments / Arts and Sports sectors across UK and Europe.  He is currently focussing on building regs and detailing packages within the firm and is really looking forward to working with the team to produce the high quality designs and finishes that we are renowned for.
